Aztec Clothing
The Aztec were very strict about their clothing. You know what they say, "Ladies first." The Aztec women wore skirts tucked into a belt. Higher class women sometimes wore gold or bronze bells. A lot of Aztec women had long hair. To make their hair shiny they put oil on it. Since ladies were more stylish, they had to make the clothes. Most clothes are made out of cotton and cactus fibers. Rabbit fur was threaded into the cloth so the Aztecs wouldn`t get cold. Now let's talk about the mens' clothing. The men wore loincloth (which is cloth that went down to to your thigh) .The men also wore capes. If you were a wealthy man, you had feathers on your cape. Back then it was stylish to stain your teeth red and black. Fashion rocks!

aztec buildings
the temples layers
Dear anyone who reads this,
Here is some infomation on the Aztec buildings:
In the pyramids that the Aztecs built, the early Aztecs used a style very similar to that of earlier Mesoamerican people of the Classic and Post Classic periods, including the Maya. There were some differences though.
TEMPLES
Templo Mayor
Height: 60m/197ft
The gods: Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc
Distinctives: A double temple
Completed: 1497
Materials: Built of stone and covered with stucco and polychrome
paint
Greater Temples
Temples were stacked on top of the older temples. In between the temples were rubber and stone mixture.
Twin Step Temple
An example of the twin stair pyramid is the temple major of Tenochtitlan. At its summit, it had two temples and a double staircase.
Each temple was dedicated to a seperate god.
Homes
Lower class homes were made of adoble (mud bricks dried in the sun with wooden poles through it) and the roofs were made of reeds and wood.
Nobles were made of stone carving and rubber.
Teocalli - God houses. The priests of the Aztec religion went to these temples to worship and pray.
Extras
Huey Tzompanti (a skull rack): made of stone and the skulls of the enemies
Stone heads were carved by stone tools, since iron tools have been invented in that period of time.
